Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to manage tasks and suspense items, developing high-quality briefing materials, and preparing talking points and responses to senior leader inquiries. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, senior-level environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage assigned tasks, action items, and suspense tracking to ensure timely completion and leadership visibility

  • Develop and maintain briefing materials, including slide decks, read-aheads, decision briefs, and information papers

  • Draft and coordinate talking points, background materials, and responses to inquiries from general officers and senior staff

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tasking coordination across internal and external organizations

  • Analyze issues and synthesize complex information into clear, concise products for senior leader decision-making

  • Respond to ad hoc requests and emerging requirements from general officers and leadership as needed

  • Ensure all products meet organizational standards for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Masters w/ 10 years of experience, Bachelor w/ 12 years of experience or Associate’s with 7 years of experience

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Finance/Accounting, Strategic Intelligence or related discipline preferred.

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly

  • Experience in dynamic operations environment to ensure short- and long-term objectives are met.

  • Demonstrated experience in staff operations, task management, or executive-level support (WMS, ETMS2 etc)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing senior level briefings

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet short-fuse deadlines

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders

  • Prior experience supporting general officers, senior executives, or government

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Word.

  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence

  • Conduct analysis, identify “as-is” and “to-be” processes, collect relevant data, information and documentation to formulate and implement a solution or recommendation.

  • Develop and recommend standardized tradecraft approaches for AI/ML capabilities that span the breadth of USCC command missions to enable basic mission groupings combined with AI/ML categorizations to match mission needs based on results of user journey mappings and or AI/ML SME advisors.

  • Strong communicator both verbally and written.  Great and problem solving and teamwork.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with business and operational stakeholders to understand mission requirements.

  • Ability to clearly communicate project progress, blockers, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to create action plans and set milestones to achieve objectives.  Proficient in digital tools and applications for data management using Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate schedules, ensuring executives can attend meetings and meet objectives.

  • Ability to operate effectively and efficiently and adapt in a dynamic, high-stakes mission environment with evolving requirements and priorities under limited supervision and be able to make all deliverables.

  • Strong organization skills who can develop, initiate, plan, monitor and track schedules, production of deliverables, and other ad-hoc duties.
