The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your technical skills in support of client information operations? As a system administrator, you’ll have the chance to build your skills and solve technical problems in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you to help develop, implement, and maintain customer-focused IT solutions in support of our warfighters.

As a system administrator on our team, you’ll collaborate to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems. You’ll work individually or in a small integrated team, and may also lead a task, project, or team. You’ll ensure project completion and provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers. You’ll develop new concepts and processes, analyze root causes, and resolve complex issues utilizing your full knowledge of industry. You'll perform systems administration of cyber toolsets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains. You'll provide support to developmental and operational systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, and network devices. You'll configure and manage Windows, UNIX, and Linux and install and load operating system and application software, including Host-based Security System, Endpoint Security Suite (ESS), Splunk, Cribl, and ACAS, and network security tools, including Firewalls and ForeScout. You’ll support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator
  • Experience installing, configuring, or maintaining devices, applications, and security tools, including Trellix ESS or former McAfee HBSS, ePO, FireEye tools, Palo Alto Firewalls, ForeScout, Splunk and Cribl, or ACAS
  • Experience with automating deployments, configuration management, or cybersecurity tools operations
  • Experience with Cloud Enterprise and authorizing cloud systems
  • Experience with Cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework-
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Associate’s degree and 10+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities
  • DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification
  • DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
  • Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer
  • Experience with Gigamon, FireEye, Ansible, Encase, Fidelis, Suricata, Varonis, or VMWare tools
  • Experience scripting in PowerShell and BASH command line interfaces
  • Experience using Active Directory to manage Windows policies
  • Experience creating system and network diagrams
  • Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions
  • Knowledge of Git and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, and Microsoft Visio graphic and flowchart design

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
