Occupational Therapist (OT), Inpatient Hospitals, Float, Full-time

A Staff Occupational Therapist is a registered therapist who, under general supervision, is responsible for therapeutic management of a specific caseload of patients from admission through discharge via evaluation, treatment planning and implementation. As a Float you will be assigned to go to multiple Inpatient Rehabilitation settings. 

Responsibilities:

• Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
• Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses
• Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
• Effectively communicate skills both verbally and in writing
• Promote evidence based patient care

Qualifications:

• Current OT license in state of Florida
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
• Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements

Shift: Full-time at 40 hours per week

Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
