The Sr. Application Support Administrator is a hands-on technical position that will support a complex and exciting SaaS solution throughout design, implementation, and maintenance phases. As part of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) Project team, this position will participate in day-to-day activities and program goals in support of elite customers both internally and externally. Technical responsibilities include providing design, implementation, and support of development and maintenance across multiple business units.

As a Sr. technical specialist, this position will be required to provide resolution guidance to the other S2P Project team members for advanced systems design, problem resolution and project management. Will help lead and actively participate in projects supporting S2P implementations and enhancements. Will oversee the maintenance of system in all capacities that include, but not limited to: configuring, testing / validating, validating upgrades, coordinating the introduction of additional system integrations, following security policies and procedures, and performing other technical duties as needed. Coordinates with local POC’s to ensure strategic alignment and governance compliance. Determines appropriateness of moderate changes or modifications to provide a high level of security according to SNC standards.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

This role is open to a hybrid schedule or 100% remote work in most states

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Functional & Technical administration for Ivalua Source-to-Pay (S2P) solution
  • Support new ETL & API implementation efforts by assessing current configurations and identifying gaps
  • Answer ‘how to’ technical and application configuration questions
  • Troubleshoot & resolve technical and functional issues
  • Work with various SNC internal teams, including the integration development and/or support team, as well as Ivalua’s Operations and Customer Care as required, to resolve issues and ensure strong customer satisfaction
  • Business Event Monitoring of customer production environments
  • Performing root cause analysis of defects and elimination/reduction of defects
  • Manage customer expectations in a way that results in high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate and provide enhancements to SNC’s knowledge base for customers’ use
  • Facilitate appropriate Business Area / Functional Area approval of system enhancements and prioritization of requests
  • Development requirements based on business objectives and best practices


Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Three years of system admin experience for a Procure-to-Pay system (Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba, etc)
  • Experience in supporting a multi environment SaaS solution, ideally in the gov-cloud · Support / Development of S2P solutions for both direct / indirect sourcing and procurement work streams
  • Proficient in communicating with all aspects of the organization, including leading in cross-functional efforts
  • Advanced understanding of data integrity and management
  • Advanced knowledge ETL
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding internal and external user expectations
  • Experience in developing and troubleshooting complex MSSQL
  • Adhere to best practices in code and configuration management
  • Advanced knowledge of API configuration and maintenance
  • Ability to foster a good working relationship with peer system admins, developers, users and project managers
  • Needs excellent oral and written communication skills · Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technology solutions and concepts
  • Ability to conceptualize business workflows and design within system workflows
  • Ability to conceptualize and map out existing data models and system integrations
  • Experience implementing / applying current cyber-security standards
  • Ability to manage to metric based measurements including service level agreement timelines
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Ivalua Technical path Level 1, 2, and 3 certification within a year.
