About the role

A very large private cooperative in Brooklyn Brighton Beach area is looking for an experienced assistant manager to join our small on-site team. This person will assist the General Manager and Resident Manager in the on-site Management Office to ensure efficient day-to-day operation and management of luxury cooperative residential building.

The candidate will assist General Manager and Senior Assistant Manager in managing all aspects of life of an old residential building, including:

analyzing AP and AR;

analyzing use of utilities;
re-registering tenants’ parking;
soliciting proposals from vendors;
reviewing tenants’ renovation paperwork;
reviewing contractors’ licenses and insurances;
communicating with vendors and contractors;
creating new forms and applications;
drafting letters to tenants and vendors;
preparing documents and case descriptions for attorneys;
communicating with residents on various matters.

REQUIREMENTS

Detail-oriented and organized with superb follow-up skills.
Customer Service experience
Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant and courteous manner.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Follows instructions and performs duties with minimal supervision.
Not flustered by urgent requests and able to act quickly in case of an emergency by
contacting shareholders as needed to provide access to maintenance staff.
Works effectively with management and local 32BJ Union staff with a positive and
professional attitude at all times
Effective positive communication via phone, radio, email, in person and able to work
under pressure.

We offer competitive salary ranging from $75,000 - $95,000 and generous time off.
