Estimator – Commercial Fencing (AF)

This is a remote position.

• Prepare and submit detailed estimates for commercial fencing projects based on client specifications and site plans.
  
• Perform remote project take-offs using supplied drawings and digital tools.
  
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, sales reps, and operations to ensure estimates are realistic and competitive.
  
• Develop comprehensive pricing strategies that balance client value and company margin.
  
• Maintain and grow relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates.
  
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  
• Provide timely updates and reports on estimating activities and pipeline status.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as an estimator in fencing or other related civil and landscaping work.
  
• Strong understanding of project take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting.
  
• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  
• Confident using remote work tools, cloud-based estimating software, and digital plans.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear remote collaboration with external parties.
  
• Highly organised with sharp attention to detail.
  
• A proactive and flexible problem-solving approach.
