Role purpose:</p><ul><li>Active participation in the development and implementation of the relevant regional strategic plans to ensure clarity of the financial impact, including support of evaluation of business cases</li><li>Through appropriate balance of short, medium, and long-term financial planning and monitoring, drive effective and efficient delivery of business goals with sound financial analysis and critical challenging</li><li>Drive trade-off decisions taking account of impacts within and outside of direct scope</li><li>Drive the delivery of budgets, forecasts, and standard costing</li><li>Provide management with sound risk-based analysis on potential impacts, implications and propose potential ways to mitigate risks</li><li>To drive productivity and simplification in finance and related business processes in EAME FFP Finance.</li></ul><p><strong>We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure seamless engagement and interaction with commercial, corporate and finance communities and stakeholders</li><li>Key member of the P&amp;S EAME FF&amp;P (Formulation, Fill &amp; Pack) leadership team, co-owning &amp; co-creating the strategy</li><li>Providing constructive challenge to the CP FF&amp;P Head EAME and the rest of the leadership team</li><li>Lead financial processes across P&amp;L and balance sheet scope for the <strong>entire EAME FF&amp;P function </strong>connecting with various stakeholders:<ul><li>Drive trade-off decisions taking account of impacts within and outside of FF&amp;P</li><li>Influence and challenge to support the drive for productivity gains across finance through process and reporting improvement/alignment</li><li>Prepare and evaluate Regional strategic business cases (capital investments &amp; strategic decision support)</li><li>Latest Outlook and Risks &amp; Opportunities management for the EAME region</li><li>Lead and coordinate the full Product Costing and Budget preparation process for the region. Sufficient understanding of the costing to simulate the impact of changes</li><li>Explore &amp; deliver opportunities for standard reporting &amp; analysis tools, using Syngenta advanced technology</li><li>Utilizing the entire FF&amp;P finance team to drive business priorities effectively</li></ul></li><li>Actively shape and improve the key business finance processes</li><li>Manage a team of Production business partners, facilitate career development of team members.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>At Syngenta we are highly people focused – we look for professionals who are engaged, collaborative and excellent in execution.
