We’re looking for an energetic, organized, and compassionate Community Manager to lead the thriving The Andre Apartment affordable housing apartment and townhome community in beautiful Madison.

What You’ll Do
As Community Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a Section 8 / Section 42 affordable housing community while delivering exceptional service to residents, applicants, vendors, and team members.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing all day-to-day property operations
- Overseeing leasing, move-ins, renewals, and resident relations
- Ensuring compliance with HUD, Section 8, and LIHTC/Section 42 regulations
- Completing certifications, recertifications, and file audits accurately and on time
- Leading rent collection and delinquency management
- Supervising maintenance coordination and property appearance
- Building positive relationships with residents and community partners
- Preparing reports, maintaining records, and meeting occupancy goals
- Leading with professionalism, accountability, and compassion
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who brings both operational excellence and heart to the role.
Ideal Candidates Have:
- Experience in affordable housing, property management, or community management
- Knowledge of Section 8, HUD, and/or LIHTC (Section 42) programs
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confidence handling compliance paperwork and deadlines
- Leadership experience and a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
- A passion for helping residents and strengthening communities
