Job Description
The University Office of Marketing & Communications is recruiting a student worker to help share important stories about the University of Nevada, Reno. This position will work in the Office of Marketing & Communications on the Communications team, assisting with public relations, including media relations efforts and planning.

Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- Desired majors include communications, journalism, English, marketing or a related field
- Knowledge of news media, photography, videography, and social media platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Junior or senior status are encouraged to apply
- Possess strong story-telling capabilities
- Strong writing skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Highly organized
- Communicates and works effectively in a team environment
