As a Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing day to day activities and managing the formulations production area B222.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations in the plant
• Provide leadership and direction for the Production department. Develop motivated and competent staff. Ensure effective and open communication.
• Manage morale and motivation and establish an environment where people at every level can flourish and develop themselves.  Create an open culture with dialogue and feedback to drive improvements.
• Ensure teams follow key work practices such as work permitting for job safety assessments, SOPs, KPI data entry, SHEQ and Production problem identification and reporting, work order entries, idea generation, 5S improvements, batch record entries, and GMP housekeeping.
• Select, manage, coach and develop staff (training, validation of training through Quiz, appraisals) in line with HR requirements and procedures.
• Dayshift Monday to Friday position, but must be available to support production through phone support.
• Additional responsibilities as defined and provided by leadership.

  You bring:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations in a relevant area required; 5 – 10 years’ experience preferred.
• Prior leadership/supervisory experience preferred. 
• General knowledge of chemistry and/or engineering and/or and biology
• Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices for: Feed, Food, Pharmaceutical Excipient, Dietary Supplement, ICH Q7 for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Cosmetic Ingredients)
