As an Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.

Our store
Located in the centre of Newark-on-Trent, our busy store is conveniently located near public transport links with ample parking nearby.

What we’re looking for? 

Some of the responsibilities of this role include: 

• Welcoming customers into store 
• Booking in eye tests 
• Pre-screening patients 
• Providing style advice 
• Measuring frames 
• Taking phone calls

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment 
• Experience in optics or audiology business or some knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.
