You Will (Responsibilities):

The Provider Enrollment Specialist is responsible for assisting with all aspects of licensing, credentialing, and application enrollment for ABC Medical, a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company. The Specialist will process applications on behalf of multiple facilities in order to ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, federal, state and local licensing agencies as well as private health insurance companies.

 

  • Complete timely and accurately initial enrollment applications, manage all application updates, revalidation, and re-credentialing for Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurance companies.
  • Provide timely response to requests for information from federal, state, and local agencies, as well as private insurance companies regarding the Company’s licensing and credentialing obligations.
  • Complete timely and accurate initial applications, manage all application updates, and renewal applications for city, county, state, local business, and/or DME/HME licensing agencies.
  • Maintain, manage and distribute company Liability certifications, W9s and Accreditation certifications as requested and required to comply with all agreements.
  • Maintain and manage company Surety Bonds, Secretary of State filings and various company specific documentation needed to complete applications.
  • Maintain meticulous filing of all applications and provider communications for the company.
  • Review, distribute and disposition all incoming list serve emails, provider communications.
  • Provide detailed communication on the status of applications, company status of enrollment and projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medicaid provider enrollment experience
  • Ability to interact professionally and ethically with team members, all levels of management, government agencies, and commercial payer personal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide clear, concise oral and written communications
  • Ability to quickly assess licensing and enrollment situations and respond appropriately
  • Ability to handle special requests in a sensitive, professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through skills 
  • Meticulous organization and filing skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider enrollment experience
  • Medicare enrollment experience (PECOS)
  • 5+ years of facility enrollment experience or relevant credentialing experience  
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience maintaining Liability Insurance and or Surety Bonds
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex payor events.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $36,256 - $67,332. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors. The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program.
