JOB SUMMARY:
The Receptionist at Polaris Pharmacy Services is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The Receptionist will manage front desk operations, including handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records, to support the efficient functioning of the pharmacy services.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front desk activities.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Handle inquiries and provide information about pharmacy services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Support pharmacy staff with additional tasks as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong customer service skills with a patient and friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting is preferred.
