Data Integration Analyst Senior

The Senior Analyst position will report to the Clinical Systems Manager, and assist with the operational responsibilities of the department as well as having the responsibilities of a technical analyst. As a Senior member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role exercises discretion and independent judgment to lead the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced technical systems of The Christ Hospital. This is accomplished by positive and efficient interaction with TCH staff, team mates, and technical representatives from outside vendors, as well as a thorough technical understanding of the application(s). The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.

Technical Builds

 

Supports analysts through mentoring, department meetings and on-going communications

 

Managing upgrades, projects, enhancements and break fix solutions 

 

Develops, supports, and maintains documentation, policies and procedures.

EDUCATION: Associate/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferred major or experience in Information Technology, Business Administration or Healthcare.

 

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Three to five years experience in Information Technology required, healthcare environment preferred. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:         

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and listening skills

Must be able to technically support the applicable application.

Ability to handle multiple projects and comply with tight deadlines

Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance of existing systems and processes

Ability to understand processes and workflows
