Junior Accountant and Financial Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain customer records including contact, delivery and payment information.
• Customize the company invoice form and other forms, such as sales receipts and estimates as needed.
• Create and maintain employees including contact information, payroll salary or rate information, and related employment data, such as W-4s and other new hire paperwork.
• Track the financial situation of the company and economic conditions in general. Predict the impact of events and policy changes, reporting their findings to the management.
• Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data. Also, analyze past and current financial performance data and prepare reports and projections based on analyses.
• Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data and maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements. Also, protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed.

Skills required:

• Strong understanding of business finance and analytics.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Expert in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Education and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance business analytics or related business field is required.
• Experience: 1+ years of related experience analyzing financial information.
• US Citizenship/Green Card holder (GC atleast 3+ Years)

Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ (Hybrid) or Leesburg, VA (Hybrid)
