About the role

This role is the opportunity to be a founding member of Sidebar’s product team. You will own and drive product management for our core Sidebar product including vision, strategy, roadmap, execution, and go-to-market. In addition, you will partner closely with the engineering team to enable streaming for Sidebar’s products.

As a Product Manager at Sidebar, you’ll… 

• Own planning and execution end-to-end, from ideation to user research to defining the vision to ensuring successful delivery of a high-quality product that customers love.

• Own discovery process for product recommendations features and fostering Sidebar’s growth

• Drive rapid sprint processes across engineering, design and sales

• Dive deep into the data to understand the why behind trends and create new features to accelerate those trends

• Connect with customers and customer facing teams to understand user needs, develop insights, inform and drive our roadmap

About you

You’ll thrive as a Product Manager, if you have:

• Extensive experience shipping high-quality consumer products

• Owned successful products from inception through launch and growth

• Exceptional communication (written and verbal); you are great at tasks, tracking projects, and motivating a team

• Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused role, with the ability to stay closely connected to the customer's needs.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

• Problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

• An incredible ability to execute; you create your own momentum 

• Experience with multi-project management and execution in a cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience building a social/community product

• Previous experience build a messaging product
