Senior ALM Model Developer

We're looking for a motivated individual to join the development and implementation of asset-liability management (ALM) models.
The Team
You will be part of a very diverse and international team of 10 members. The Integrated Risk ALM Model Development (MD) department sits within Integrated Risk and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and ensuring the quality and governance of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) models used across ING. These models support key balance sheet risk management activities, including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, behavioural modelling, replication modelling, and economic capital considerations.
Roles and responsibilities
Work on developing and maintaining ALM models, including data input, model calibration, and scenario analysis.
Manage complex projects to deliver on internal / external requirements.
Guide and collaborate with the team to develop behavioural models that capture customer behaviour over time.
Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing of the ALM models to assess the impact of various risk factors on the financial projections.
Analyze the results to identify potential areas of risk or opportunity.
Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.

We are looking for a team member with the following knowledge and experience:
An academic degree (MSc or PhD), quantitative studies such as Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering & Physics.
Finished additional professional qualifications in the financial risk field such as CFA, FRM, or the willingness to do so.
Experience with Python.
Experience with model development in large financial institutions.
Additionally, you should be:
Proactive and analytical.
Open and strong in communication.
Problem solving and determined to finish on time.
