The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Industrial Engineering organization is seeking an Industrial Engineers (Level 2, 3, or 4) to support the Supply Chain Engineering team located in Everett, WA.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity to integrate between Boeing and our suppliers to stabilize, improve, and transform production systems and processes. The Supply Chain Engineering team partners with Supply Chain Operations to provide support or assistance to a supplier by identifying and mitigating any supply chain risk to the Boeing Production System. Our Industrial Engineers will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, as well as improving quality through root cause analysis.
The role will evaluate supplier production data, identify risks and work with Procurement Agents to protect BCA production health. Our team’s currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Industrial Engineers.

Positions Responsibilities:
Performs capacity analysis and recommends an optimal execution strategy based on the supplier resource (labor, machine, and production system) to enable an efficient, effective, and optimized production process.
Prepare, assess, and conduct post-activities for a Production Readiness Assessment.
Create, develop and utilize data analytics/modeling to enhance decision making and extend this to the external supply base.
Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements.
Conducts workflow design and analysis.
Develops and implements plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods.
Creates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices.
Provides production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support.
Ensures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.
These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidates will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
These positions require the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
Able to travel 50%-75% of the time
2+ years of experience with project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with project management (Mid-Level)
9+years of experience with project management (Senior)
2+ years of experience in LEAN manufacturing, project management, and interfacing with senior leadership.
2+ years of experience in process modeling and simulation.
Proficient in structured problem solving and strong analytical skills.
Typical Education / Experience:
Associate (Level 2): Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level (Level 3): Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification with experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Senior (Level 4): Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
