As a Supply Chain Specialist II/III, you will serve as a strategic driver of operational excellence, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with enterprise priorities. You will lead planning, sourcing, and execution decisions that support operations, maintenance, and capital projects while leading transformation initiatives that enhance reliability, reduce risk, and create sustainable value. Through proactive engagement and strategic insight, you’ll help position the supply chain as a critical driver of long‑term business performance.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Performs multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Supports procurement processes
  • Handles requisition traffic and procures quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures
  • Coordinates communication between internal customers and vendors
  • Facilitates the resolution of disputes and claims
  • Supervises required inspections, expediting and logistics support
  • Analyzes and reports on market conditions and identifies competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinates and facilitates pre-competitive meetings and provides input to bid awards
  • Partners with internal stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Projects to align supply chain strategies with business objectives while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance
  • Leads transformation and continuous improvement of operational supply chain processes, supporting operations and maintenance through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination to anticipate demand, mitigate supply risk, and improve cost and reliability outcomes
  • Applies a strategic, forward‑looking mindset to supply chain decision‑making, proactively optimizing sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and long‑term value creation
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

Supply Chain Specialist III:

  • Required: High School diploma/GED and a minimum four (4) years' experience
  • Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field

Supply Chain Specialist II:

  • Required: High School diploma/GED and a minimum two (2) years' experience

  • Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Up to 50% travel between field sites and Headquarters
