What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables, working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.

  • Follow standard procedures to complete tasks of varying scope, sequence, and complexity within the agreed timeframe, and assist in troubleshooting process issues.

  • Identify and solve moderately routine problems in a structured environment, making decisions that require choosing from limited options.

  • Complete assignments with moderate supervision using established procedures and general instructions, referring deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor.

  • Play a critical role in the movement of materials and finished goods within the plant, office, or warehouse, utilizing a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks.

  • Assist in identifying required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput, and quality, and make decisions on the best methods and procedures for different work situations.

  • Adhere to all SOPs, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), plant safety, quality, and documentation requirements, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with Corporate and Government Regulatory requirements for facilities and processes.

  • Provide technical support to hi-rise operations, resolving issues and offering warehousing expertise, and complete necessary documentation using a computerized inventory system.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all cGMP, FDA guidelines/laws and corporate expectations 

  • Picking, Crosschecking, and Staging customer orders for shipment via LTL, Full Truckload and Parcel. 

  • Crosschecking and Counting all orders that are staged for same day and next day delivery of customer orders. 

  • Train and develop colleagues on operational tasks 

  • Support revision and development SOPs and Job Aides; Assist with investigations of Event Reports (ER) and Quality Assurance Reports (QAR); assist with Change Records (CR). 

  • Partner with Customer Service, Transportation, Receiving, etc., to drive results.  

  • Support investigations and implement actions associated with Quality System findings (i.e. Quality Assurance Reports (QARS), Events Reports (ERs) and Commitments (CT), etc.) 

  • Must operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support operations 

  • Responsibilities may include occasional special project work and other duties as assigned by the Managers or Site Leadership  

  • Fill in for absent Group Leader to ensure workflow is maintained 

  • Complete any other tasks deemed necessary and assigned by a Group Leader, Warehouse Manager, or Distribution Center Director. 

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Experience in general warehousing or manufacturing

  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience.

  • Certification on MHE required.

  • Capable of completing documentation relative to the movement of inventory

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of practices or concepts of Information Management and a working knowledge of practices, concepts and operations within other partner disciplines

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to verbal and written instructions/facility documents

  • Ability to operate various types of MHE

  • Ability to define and explain opportunities for improvement.

  • Ability to identify and report safety concerns.

  • Proactive & effective communication within and across shifts

  • Advanced electronic and computer skills including Excel
