Hospital Sisters Health System is recruiting a Vice President - Chief Nursing Executive. This role is responsible for the coordination of the nursing service functions across the system. This role reports directly to the HSHS SVP & Chief Operating Officer and is based at our system office in Springfield, IL.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned nursing leader with specific experience driving nursing quality standards, nursing education, and emergency preparedness. The ideal candidate is also experienced in magnet standards and practices.

- Based in Springfield, IL
- Reports directly to the HSHS SVP & Chief Financial Officer
- Relocation package provided
- Base salary and annual incentive both provided

Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in business, nursing, healthcare administration, management or related field is required or must be actively pursuing master's degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role.
- BSN is required if Master's degree is not a Master's in Nursing.
- PhD in nursing or willingness to obtain PhD in nursing is strongly preferred.
- 7+ years nursing experience in hospital-based setting is required.
- 5+ years of nursing leadership experience is required.
- 2+ years experience with magnet standards and practices is preferred.

Education Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, nursing, healthcare administration, management or related field is required or must be actively pursuing master's degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role.
• BSN is required if Master's degree is not a Master's in Nursing.
• PhD in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 7+ years nursing experience in hospital-based setting is required.
• 5+ years of nursing leadership experience is required.
• 2+ years experience with magnet standards and practices is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
