As a Team Lead for People Services (Tier 1), you’ll oversee and guide a new and talented team of People Associates within our new Hub in Hungary. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key function that provides essential HR support to half of Wolt’s countries - and we’re only just getting started! With plans to expand our services globally, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our Tier 1 HR team and driving operational and service excellence across multiple regions.</p><p>In this role, you'll not only manage day-to-day HR operations but also foster team growth, support process improvements, and ensure seamless HR services delivery. Come join us!</p><p><br/> <strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><p>Team Leadership and Supervision:</p><ul><li>Supervise a team of around ten People Associates, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.</li><li>Monitor team performance, set clear goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.</li><li>Ensure that the team adheres to company policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>Day-to-Day HR Support:</p><ul><li>Oversee the handling of day-to-day HR inquiries from employees across different countries.</li><li>Ensure that HR support is efficient, accurate, and meets the needs of employees.</li><li>Act as the first point of escalation for complex HR issues, ensuring timely resolution.</li></ul><p>Knowledge transfer and launch:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with Tier 2 HR teams to ensure a smooth transition of tasks to the People Associates in Tier 1 team</li><li>Oversee the creation of process documentation and knowledge transfer milestones</li><li>Ensure an effective back-upping system is in place for the country deliverables in scope</li></ul><p>Operational Excellence:</p><ul><li>Implement and maintain HR processes and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery.</li><li>Drive manager and employee self-service adoption. </li><li>Support the onboarding of new employees into the HR system, Workday, ensuring data accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.</li></ul><p>Team Development:</p><ul><li>Provide training and development opportunities for People Associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.</li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with company values.</li></ul><p>Continuous Improvement:</p><ul><li>Identify areas for process improvement and work with the team to implement changes.</li><li>Gather feedback from employees and use it to enhance the HR support services offered.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Position holder must be based in Hungary and able to attend the office 4+ day
