Position Summary

We are seeking either a Clinical IS Learning Experience Architect II or a Senior Clinical IS Learning Experience Architect to join our team. These roles are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive, scalable learning programs spanning clinical systems, information technology, and business processes—ensuring they meet organizational objectives and industry standards.

Both positions manage training environments, including the Epic Master Training Environment (MST), troubleshoot issues, and execute the Epic Credentialed Trainer Program. The Senior Architect level provides additional leadership and mentorship for training facilitators and serves as a higher-level subject matter expert.

Key Contributions

  • Design, develop, and maintain learning programs for clinical and IT processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

  • Build and maintain MST and related training environments; troubleshoot and support issues.

  • Manage and maintain the Epic Credentialed Trainer Program, mentoring and coaching facilitators (Senior level leads credentialing strategy).

  • Stay current with technical upgrades and adjust training materials/programs accordingly.

  • Conduct needs assessments and define learning objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Serve as primary subject matter expert for Epic modules and other assigned HealthPoint technologies.

  • Provide Tier II end-user support for Epic and other clinical IS applications.

  • Deliver engaging learning sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Partner with Talent Pathways & Learning (TP&L) to maintain quality standards for learning documentation, LMS content, and delivery.

  • Provide in-person and virtual shadowing to support workflow adoption and quality assurance.

  • (Senior level) Act as Epic Mitosis Guru, maintain credentialing program scheduling, and provide leadership coverage for Training team as needed.

Qualifications

Clinical IS Learning Experience Architect II

  • Epic Ambulatory Curriculum Certification required.

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree or clinical certification preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years healthcare-related experience, including:

    • 3 years electronic health record (EHR) experience (Epic preferred).

    • 3 years developing, designing, facilitating, or implementing professional training programs.

    • Experience with MST build, full-cycle implementations, and post-live support preferred.

Senior Clinical IS Learning Experience Architect

  • Same requirements as above, plus:

    • Minimum 7 years healthcare-related experience OR healthcare training in both virtual and in-person settings.

    • Minimum 5 years Epic experience, including EHR training program development, delivery, and facilitation.

    • Demonstrated ability to mentor, credential, and coach training facilitators.

For both roles:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, write business correspondence, and present to diverse audiences.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and virtual training tools (WebEx, Teams).

  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS admin
