About the Role
Are you a results-oriented, strategic thinker with an audience-first mindset? The Verisk Brand team is seeking a dedicated Senior Strategist to lead the marketing efforts responsible for positioning Verisk as an employer of choice and preference globally. The successful candidate is one with a background in brand strategy, employer brand and stakeholder management, who can thrive in a fast-pased environment, and is passionate about first impressions!
In this inaugural role, you will be tasked with developing employer brand strategies, creating, and activating an Employee Value Propostition (EVP), and a 360-degree refresh across all internal and external touchpoints. You will be tasked with bringing our employer brand to life globally and crafting new and innovative ways to engage with our audiences through key digital channels.
The role is based in our New York (Jersey City, NJ). Verisk offers a hybrid work environment with in-office work at least 2 days/week.
Job Responsibilities
· Employee Journey – Create compelling customer insights through development of target personas, their needs and how to position Verisk as the employer of choice
· Talent Acquisition Strategy – Define the market engagement opportunity for Verisk across prospective talent pools through demonstrated knowledge of recruiting goals and needs
· Marketing Strategy – Deliver ongoing marketing planning process inclusive of objectives, strategies, tactics, budget, and measurement that secures CHRO and CMO approval
· Messaging & Positioning – Create audience-centric positioning and messaging that differentiates Verisk to prospective employees across the globe
· Brand Alignment - Work with HR to complete Verisk’s brand migration across all HR systems and platforms throughout the organization, both visual (logo, colors) and verbal (why we exist.).
· Campaign Development – Create HR marketing plan to support HR strategies and go-to-market plans. Lead integrated marketing activities that may include events, email marketing, digital content online advertising, video, social media. Deliver superior creative briefs that compel outstanding creative development.
· Marketing Analytics - Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns and communicate the results of marketing efforts
· Thought Leader - Serve as the marketing partner for HR team, and new acquisitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing or related field
- Related marketing experience (5+ years)
- Integrated marketing experience (strategic planning and execution) leading HR marketing activities
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive end-to-end execution of marketing programs
- Strong presentation, written and verbal skills, especially adept at driving strategic marketing insights to deliver compelling campaigns
- Global B2B experience preferred
- Data-driven mindset
- Strong analytical mind to architect a measurable, outcome-based deliverable

- Someone who is always aligning tasks and activities with targeted outcomes
