Summary of Job Duties:

Develop and implement strategies to build and sustain partnerships with local businesses, industry organizations, and community stakeholders.

Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff to identify partnership opportunities that align with the college's mission and programs.

Coordinate and facilitate meetings, events, and workshops to engage partners and promote collaboration.

Serve as a liaison between the college and external partners, ensuring effective communication and relationship management that leads to the continuous increase in a skilled workforce for our service area.

Provide oversight for existing apprenticeship programs and continue to build and develop new apprenticeship opportunities as needed to support economic sustainability in the College’s service area.

Develop and facilitate all career credit opportunities (non-credit workforce programming) including but not limited to customized and localized training programming.

Recruit and supervise all career credit (non-credit workforce) instructors and staff.

Research and analyze industry trends, labor market demands, and community needs to inform partnership activities and workforce programming.

Identify funding opportunities, facilitate grant applications, and manage funded grants that support industry partnership initiatives.

Evaluate the effectiveness of partnership programs and activities, continuously seeking improvement and innovation


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field; Consideration will be given to applicants with less than a Bachelor's degree dependent on demonstrated Industry and Community Partnership experience.

  • Proven experience in partnership development, relationship management, or community engagement. 

  • Strong knowledge of the local business community and industry sectors. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. 

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve goals. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, using relevant busines
