Job Summary: This position is responsible for servicing existing customers and prospecting for new business opportunities in the assigned territory.  The Account Executive (AE) will be tasked with ring-fencing a customer base within the defined geography and identifying and onboarding new.  Key objectives of this position are developing sound customer relationships, account profitability and growing our position as a market leader. This position reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager for the Magnolia, AR Business Unit.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing; combination of education and 5 yrs work experience accepted
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with front line sales account management
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pricing, negotiation, and contracts

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build customer relationships
• Experience with aluminum related products
• Residence must be centrally located in the market area

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct primary sales account interface, administration and communication with customers – represent the Company to the customer base.
• Develop customer relationships to enhance customer retention and market share growth.
• Conduct sales activities in a manner consistent with the Company’s defined market strategy and Company values, and compliant with established Company policies and procedures.
• Perform forecasting, sales analyses, inquiries, and general intelligence efforts to develop, maintain and utilize superior customer and market knowledge to implement sound sales approaches and actions.
• Work effectively with customer service, plant and SVC operations to resolve customer account issues and challenges.
• Prepare and maintain updates, highlights, special management reports etc. as required.
• Frequent travel required.
