Job Summary
This job is responsible for the supervision and administration of the Physical Security Program. It involves backup responsibilities for the Manager, Nuclear Security positionJob Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise security analysts responsible for the security computer system, corrective action program, procedures and various other security related functions
- Serve as a regulatory interface with the NRC
- Act as a subject matter expert regarding security regulations
- Provide daily oversight I support of security operations
- Oversee the safety-security program
- Interface with and support the security services teaming partner
- Handle, process, create, and control safeguards information
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with all station departments
- Fill an ERO position and provide outage support
- Consistently seek out and implement program improvements
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 5 years' experience in the nuclear security industry- required
- 2 years' experience as a supervisor /leader - required
- Working knowledge of 1OCFR Part 73.55 - required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments
- Possess systematic problem - solving skills
