Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Custom Metal Welders / Fabricators for projects located in or around Oregon City, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:     

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and aluminum
• Fabricate and assemble large metal structures according to design drawings
• Operate hoists and other industrial lifting equipment safely
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the welding shop

Requirements

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the welding shop
• Strong ability to read and interpret design drawings
• Proven experience welding large objects with MIG and TIG techniques
• Experience working in an industrial welding shop environment
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 55 pounds and perform most tasks standing
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred
