Senior Treasury Cash Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

The Treasury Manager reports to the Head of Treasury and Investor Relations and is overall responsible for coordinating cash management and payments as well as risk management related tasks.

Responsibilities:

 

• First point of contact for cash management banking partners across Wizz network, including, CEE, UK and Abu Dhabi
• Taking part in improving and implementing Group level cash management and banking strategy
• Responsible for end to end cash management and payment related processes and documentation
• Manage bank relationships, accounts, compliance and audit related duties (account opening/closing, account documentations, issues)
• Lead the improvement of a Treasury Management System for payments, cash management and cash forecasting
• Lead the identification and resolution of daily operational challenges for the cash management team
• Manage cash position, cash forecast and treasury reporting, including management and Board reports
• Ensure that counterparty, liquidity, cash management and investment policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed
• Proactively propose and implement improvement activities
• Co-pilot the Line Manager on various ad-hoc projects and initiatives

 

Requirements:

• University/college degree in finance, accounting area
• At least 1-3 years of work experience in a multinational corporate environment
• Experience and knowledge on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Great business communication skills, excellent command of English
• Experience in cash management and/or treasury operations is an advantage
• Good knowledge on payment systems, single bank platforms preferable but not essential
• Dynamic personality with proactive, positive attitude
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Highly numerate, analytical and attention to detail is crucial
• Ability to work under pressure and cope with conflicting demands
• Flexibility and team working skills
