 Job Title: Barista - Powder Haven Community

Status: Full-Time, Year-Round, Non-Exempt Hourly

Reporting To: Director of Powder Haven Food & Beverage Services

Powder Haven, Powder Mountain's private upscale community is seeking an experienced, guest focused, polished Barista for our Skylodge and Powder Landing locations.  Our skilled Baristas will be dedicated to the art of crafting exceptional espresso drinks while shouldering a spectrum of guest service responsibilities. 

Our Barista staff takes pride in delivering flawless hand prepared beverages while offering excellent customer service, and proudly representing the essence of our establishments and resort.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

• Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects Skylodge's and Powder Landing's exclusive and inviting ambiance.
• Welcome guests and be knowledgeable about Powder Haven/Powder Mountain events.
• Be knowledgeable about ingredients, ingredient origin, allergens, and proper creation on specialty drinks.
• Ability to recommend beverages that will compliment meal selection.
• Maintain Barista bar with highest discretion of cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain stock levels and take inventory of ingredients.
• Craft delicious beverages.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, well presented and prepared for daily service.
• Prepare ingredients for drink recipes, following established procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to create thematic holiday and event drink menus.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Barista experience, preferably in upscale environment.
• Innate desire to provide a superb, elevated guest experience.
• Be polished, articulate and polite.
• Adhere rigorously to company and state guidelines of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Assist with glass clearing, bar trash disposal, and overall coffee bar setup and breakdown.
• Uphold excellent personal hygiene.
• Desire to keep clean and orderly spaces through sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and dishwashing.
• Polish silverware and maintain dishware, utensils, and glassware.
• Maintain and restock restroom facilities.
• Commit to required schedule.
• Ability to work on weekends, holidays, evening and occasional over time.
• Have reliable transportation either via UTA or 4-wheel drive vehicle.
