Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Partner Managed Inventory (PMI) Integrator (Level 3) who will be responsible for leading the PMI integration between Structures, Commodity teams and our Supplier Partners consisting of supply chain, functional excellence, and supplier partners in support of the 787 Program in Everett, Washington.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess in-depth knowledge and experience with 787 procurement and PMI processes in support of the 787 Program. Must have the capability to lead in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Candidate will need strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills to build and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders and key external supplier partners.

You will perform all activities related to managing our 787 PMI program and business system improvement by driving performance internally and externally, rate review coordination, supplier training and performance, metric management and development of standardized reporting (presentations, engagements, monthly scorecards) and communication to leadership and with Supplier partners. You will work with the Structures PMI Procurement Agent (PA) team to coordinate reviews, and be responsible for the elevation and awareness of issues within the supply chain that may impact our ability to meet and maintain rate capability.  

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing and integrating all supplier-related activities in support of the Program.

  • Develops and executes integrated 787 PMI organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business process strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Partner/integrate with Operations Procurement Agents (PA) and daily management activity (boots, shipment reconciliation, communication between providing partner PA team(s) and supplier partners).

  • Leads 787 process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, commodity teams, and partners.

  • Provides oversight and approval of integration approaches, products and processes.

  • Leads and motivates PMI team members.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with Supply Chain processes

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data for a cross-functional team

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or higher / military experience

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and developing Key Performance Indicators

  • 3+ years of experience in Program or Project Management

  • 3+ years of experience working with Procurement Systems

  

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
