Product Analyst (Commercial Lines)

Summary: Under general supervision and with independent judgment, supports product management through research, data collection, analysis, document development and user acceptance testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides support to the product management team, including:
a. Compiling and analyzing state, industry, and competitor data to inform strategic initiatives, including rate and rule reviews, new product development and underwriting appetite adjustments.
b. Assists Product Managers in creation of comprehensive line-of business plans for rate and coverage considerations.
c. Compiles and analyzes company results and product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support product reviews and performance assessments.
d. Collaborates with colleagues across the organization to ensure alignment across forms, rates, rules, and internal systems.
e. Influences decision making and alignment with stakeholders through clear and effective communication.
f. Provides basic analytical coaching to less experience analysts.

2. Serves as Business Lead and/or resource on complex corporate projects representing departmental function.

3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Two to four years in a related role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
