Summary
Smarsh is seeking a highly professional and motivated Financial Systems Administrator to be responsible for all accounting information systems, namely our ERP Netsuite. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in Netsuite implementations, processes, reporting, troubleshooting and integrations with other key systems including Salesforce. Smarsh is a quickly growing Company requiring team members to juggle multiple roles. This person will assist with special projects as assigned by the Accounting team. This is a great opportunity with high growth potential and will report to the VP, Global Corporate Controller.

How will you contribute?

  • Serve as the leader of accounting information systems including our ERP NetSuite and our PO, invoice, and expense tools.
  • Integrate NetSuite with Salesforce and other systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and enhance overall system functionality.
  • Design and implement automated processes and workflows to streamline business operations and improve productivity.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, system errors, and performance problems within the finance applications.
  • Provide training to users on the latest features and best practices, and offer ongoing support to address user queries and issues.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide key performance metrics and insights for various stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with releases and implement necessary upgrades while ensuring compatibility with existing configurations.
  • Manage data feeds, data quality, master data and reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally to document and analyse processes end-to-end.
  • Lead or assist in projects, such as system migrations, integrations, or enhancements.
  • Advise the business on best practices to better optimise our tools.
  • Other related responsibilities are determined from time to time by management.

What will you bring?

  • BS/BA in Business Applications, Accounting, Finance preferred
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in a business systems role
  • Expertise with NetSuite and Salesforce integrations, customizations and data migrations required
  • SaaS, Technology or other high-growth business experience preferred
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional/downstream impacts
  • Understanding of systems analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling and systems design methodologies
  • Understanding of industry-standard Accounting processes spanning across the whole organization
