Responsibilities

Leads the development, coordination, and ongoing success of the Respiratory Care program, aligning every initiative with Community Medical Centers’ mission and goals. Serves as a key liaison between physicians, medical groups, hospital leadership, staff, community partners, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and exceptional care delivery.

 

This role champions high-quality patient care by overseeing program operations and continuously elevating standards. Partners closely with medical and hospital teams to deliver comprehensive, innovative, and cost-effective respiratory services across Community Regional Medcial Center, Clovis Community Medical Center and Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital. Provides strategic direction, mentorship, and support to leaders and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from an AMA school of Respiratory Care with approximately three to five years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in a leadership role in service/program area.

PREFERENCES: Hospital, healthcare or not-for-profit industry experience. Master’s degree.

 

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Current state of California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license within three (3) months of hire. Registered Respiratory Therapist from NBRC. Current BLS certification.
