Our goal is to enhance the Amazon Fulfillment network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner that is truly a world-class. NACF PLEX is vigorously innovating in a number of areas aimed at propelling our customers’ experience by ensuring that we have robust plans in North America Operations and beyond for optimal execution. Within the PLEX org, Product, Predictions & Measurement (PPM) team is hiring a Senior Product Manager - Tech (PMT) who will spearhead the management of state-of-the-art products that will make a long-lasting footprint on our organization's path towards Hands Off the Wheel automated optimization.

Sr. PMT in this role will own science model-based products and features that will revolutionize the way Amazon Customer Fulfillment plans and executes across its network. In this role, you will not only spearhead the development and management of Machine-learning models, complex algorithms and various analytics but will also merge them with software engineering for seamless system integration into our daily business planning and execution. As Amazon Operations continue to expand in depth and breadth, the Sr. PMT will be at the center of defining the vision and requirements for products that are efficient, relevant, and scalable to the business. Sr. PMT will closely partner with Business Leaders, Software Developers, Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, Product/Program Managers and internal users/customers to develop and manage business-critical solutions.

Key job responsibilities
• Define and drive the roadmap for multiple products.
• Establish strategic plans that achieve technical and business goals.
• Deliver long-lasting foundational systematic solutions that pave the way for the greater NACF org to optimally leverage the solutions offered through PLEX.
• Work with leaders across tech, product/program management, finance and operations to manage new and existing initiatives and processes.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from start to finish.
• Influence priorities and business strategy through quantitative and qualitative contributions.
• Interact directly with product end users starting for development and continuous improvement products and programs.
• Define clear goals and objectives for the business in the planning and execution space while identifying risks and strategizing mitigation plans.
• Travel domestically up to 10% of the time.

About the team
PLEX-PPM focuses on the scalable and automated optimization of operations through direct partnership with business stakeholders and tech teams (internal and external to PLEX). Advocating on behalf of NACF Operations, we are the business owners of various product suites that optimize operations planning and execution. PLEX-PPM builds and manages automated and scalable solutions that are intuitive, easy to use, and effective. PLEX-PPM is accountable to deciding ‘what to build next’ and surfacing effectiveness of its developed solutions through sophisticated measurement techniques. The team is also responsible for the validation, pilot, deployment, and Keeping-The-Lights-On (KTLO) for any products that we develop for the business.

Basic Qualifications


- 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience with business finances to develop business cases

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with end to end product delivery
