Job Summary

The Extra Help Data Evaluation staff member will run queries from databases, including analysis of pre/post workshop assessments and coaching data. Will organize and format data and information to facilitate ease of analysis and collaborate with team to analyze and synthesize data to drive decision-making. Other duties include preparing reports and conducting internet research for special projects as assigned. This position will have frequent communication and collaborates with the A+ team member and supervisor.

The Autism Professional Learning and Universal Supports (A+) Project at Illinois State University assists the Illinois State Board of Education in addressing the significant behavior needs of children and youth with Autism Spectrum (ASD) and related behavior and communication disorders. Through a comprehensive approach encompassing professional learning, technical assistance, coaching, and collaboration, A+ has worked closely with school teams to enhance their capacity to effectively support students with ASD. The A+ project provides professional learning and coaching to educators using high-impact, evidence-based practices, and strategies to support individuals with autism and related behavior and communication challenges.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour

  2. Expert or Master level of expertise in Microsoft Suite

Special Instructions for Applicants

Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment. Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University’s supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment. In addition, extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment.
