Job Description

The Infrastructure and CI/CD Stack We Build With 

We are building infrastructure to provide services and servers both on-premises and on Azure-Cloud: 

• Our production infrastructure is supported by Docker Swarm with CI/CD implemented using Jenkins. 

• We are building and managing our services cloud based with Pulumi plus Kubernetes 

• From CI/CD and GitOps we are making progress by using GitHub and GitHub Actions. 

• Our observability tooling is all integrated in Elasticsearch. 

• The connectivity platforms are on top of open standards like XMPP / MQTT / HTTP. 

• We use maven to build our java applications. 

Your Contribution to Something Big 

We are optimizing the way heating systems are managed, operated, and maintained by providing knowledge and tools for our customers to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an active voice in shaping and bringing up stacks that support the development environments of products in residential heating and cooling solutions. You will be part of a talented, motivated, and multicultural team that fosters continuous improvement through learning, retrospectives, and feedback. 

On a typical day you will: 

• Maintain stacks up-to-date and always keep a reliable and stress-free CI/CD. 

• Ensure proper monitoring of the services and improve their uptimes or operate during issues. 

• Address cross-domain problems in security, performance, and validation. 

• Create fully automated infrastructure setups 

• Collaborate with developers and product owners. 

• Identify areas of improvement in our products and processes. 

• Review code and solutions constructively. 

• Share knowledge with teammates. 

• Define targets, automate tests and analyze results to ensure. 

These are the base skills for you to help us: 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 

• Many years of professional working experience in the backend and/or an academic degree in Informatics Engineering or similar.
