Position Summary
Blackhawk Country Club is seeking an Outside Service Manager to join our team. The Outside Service Manager will play an integral part in providing the highest quality service to our members and their guests. As the Outside Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Outside Service/Cart Staff and our Practice Facility with TrackMan Technology team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee all aspects of outside service operations, including bag drop, cart staging, and Practice Facility with TrackMan Technology.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise outside services staff to ensure exceptional service and efficient operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and appearance of golf carts, including charging, cleaning, and reporting any issues for repair.
- Monitor cart areas for any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with golf shop staff and golf course maintenance team to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of outside service areas, including bag drop, cart staging area, and our Practice Facility with TrackMan Technology.
- Coordinates with tournament operations team.
- Act as the first point of contact for our members and their guests by greeting them and loading/unloading their golf bags to and from cars.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Previous experience in golf course operations, preferably at a private country club with more than one course, in a supervisory or managerial role.
- PGA member or Associate member of the PGA in good standing, preferred.
- 3-5 years of hospitality experience, preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, effective decisions.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
