The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Sr. Manager Business Intelligence
The Senior Manager Business Intelligence role is pivotal in assisting the development of analytic strategies and overseeing execution of tactical plans as it relates to the vehicle merchandising, marketing and buying experience. This individual must show proven success using data and insights to collaborate across business functions such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, Products and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience consulting with enterprise-class clients, using data analysis to produce actionable insights. This individual must demonstrate a continuous passion for supporting a culture of collaboration, discovery and learning. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of business concepts and associated data as it relates to market analysis, digital marketing, website performance, inventory merchandising and/or CRM/retailing solutions.
Successful candidates will have advanced analytical skills, the ability to create reporting and analyses that tell a story with data while provide actionable recommendations. This individual will develop innovative analytics and reporting solutions that inform and influence decisioning across vehicle retailing functions. Using Business Intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy and Tableau, you’ll create scalable reporting while leveraging PowerPoint and SQL to create ad hoc presentations that bring together performance data with customer and industry trends to tell a clear and concise story around the vehicle retailing process. This role is expected to perform these duties with minimal daily oversight.
What You’ll Do
Working with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations; you provide actionable insights on consumer behavior, advertising channel mix and digital transactions/sales through data analytics, pre/post analysis, data mining and statistical methods.
Partner with business leaders to identify and define key reporting and analysis metrics to inform the business’ KPI framework.
Create standard and evolving reporting, analysis and forecasting capabilities to support client optimization strategies and give insights on critical data necessary for business decisioning.
Mine data from a variety of data sources and platforms to surface strategies that improve ROI and program performance.
Explores and incorporates available and new data sources to proactively create and present to internal and external stakeholders with minimal manager support, including customized sales presentations, program recaps, tactic evaluations and solution recommendations.
Presents directly to clients and internal stakeholders, developing and articulating analytical concepts and summarized findings through cohesive narratives.
Designs, conducts and leads processes that facilitate complex analyses that mine, extract, track, report and analyze performance metrics and other data source systems and summarize findings.
Deliver actionable insights into compelling PowerPoint slides with a simplified and visual story.
Collaborates with different departments and defines requirements to improve our analytics suite.
