Principal Product Manager - Tech, Vulnerability Management Solutions Engineering (VMSE)
Amazon.comAbout the role
Do you like diving deep with customers, and creating innovative solutions for their problems? Are you passionate about modeling value propositions, gain drivers, or pain relievers for customers? Would you prefer to work with global customers directly on a day-to-day basis? Does the idea of building product vision, and driving adoption of that vision across multiple organizations excite you? If so, this Principal Product Management - Technical (PMT) role is the one for you!
The Vulnerability Management Solutions Engineering (VMSE) organization is looking for a tenured Principal PMT to join our growing team of security engineers, software engineers, and scientists. This PMT will shape the future vision of our Incident Command/Response, Vulnerability Management, and security scanning capabilities for the longer term. They will work across two 50-person plus operations teams, two 50-person plus engineering organizations, and partner with over 5 security engineering organizations. They will developed a product strategy and roadmap for internal Tier-1 tools that improve Incident Response, vulnerability management, and host/container scanning solutions for Amazon. In addition to this, they will become a pioneer in A.I. based product development in the cyber security space; conceiving Think Big opportunities to change how security teams manage security findings at scale.
The vision for the PMT in this role is to define what we are calling the “security management control plane” - an operations console that enables Defensive Security teams to managed security findings across Amazon’s compute infrastructure. Successful PMT’s in this role will build strong relationships with partners that focus on the builder experience, as well as security teams across several Amazon Business Units.
