SageSure is looking for an experienced, talented, and committed Claims Manager with deep technical knowledge of property claims. A qualified candidate must possess experience navigating challenging and complex claim situations, collaborating with others to develop and achieve business goals, and coaching team members to reach their full potential. Ideal candidates will have a strong track record of creating, developing, and leading highly successful teams through significant periods of change. What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a team of Claims Examiners or Adjusters that handle all levels of personal lines property losses and limited commercial lines property losses, may include the leadership of TPA teams
- Promoting customer service excellence by building empathy and passion for the customer experience that meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Responsible for performance management, administration, training, development, and coaching of an assigned team
- Analyzing problematic trends and taking action to avoid recurrence, appropriately escalating issues when needed
- Promoting a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve how work is completed
- Ensuring claims within the unit meet or exceed quality and regulatory requirements
- Effectively participating with the management team in employee recruitment to ensure appropriate staffing
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 7+ years of property claims experience with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong organizational, planning, and delegation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of major estimating and data analytics platforms
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of construction and repair methodologies
- Holds or meets requirements for licensing as needed
- Ability to travel as necessary
Highly preferred candidate also has:
- Catastrophe claim handling, leadership, or coordination experience
- Strong process development and analytical skills
- Vendor management experience
- Professional designations
