Description

The Florence Presbyterian Community is looking for Cooks to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. This person will cook dishes that will delight our residents with taste and timely delivery.

Requirements

Responsibilities & Skills

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen. Monitor sanitation procedures for daily, weekly and monthly schedules
• Monitor all hot and cold temperature logs daily
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients

Preferred:

• One year cooking experience in hospitality setting or related environment
