23andMe is looking for a Program Manager to facilitate our corporate goal setting processes and support our strategic planning operations. This role will report to the Director of Strategic Planning Operations.

What You’ll Do

OKRs

  • Manage the quarterly OKR check-in process for both Company and Department OKRs: manage the logistics, coordination, and preparation of OKR Town Hall decks; work with the PGMs dedicated to each OKR.
  • Build out and refine our Smartsheet OKR infrastructure. Automate and templatize where it makes sense.
  • Help functional leaders collaborate to write clear and concise OKRs that inspire employees and help them see the big picture.
  • Identify and resolve dependencies and resource constraints early on that might prevent us from hitting our KRs.
  • Ensure OKRs match up with both the strategic and financial plan, and maximize our annual progress towards achieving our 3-year vision.
  • Sync with Business Analytics team to improve our OKRs dashboards and ensure automated reporting of OKR metrics when possible.

Corporate Calendar

  • Coordinate with teams across the company to ensure key dates are added to the Corporate Calendar for weekly review at Business and Strategy Team.
  • Flag potential issues related to dates or schedules for resolution at BSTM.
  • Build out and refine our Smartsheet infrastructure; support broader adoption / integration across the company with relevant department-level calendars.
  • Create / maintain / improve dashboards and views used by Execs and the Office of the CEO.
  • Continue to improve, right-size, and mature our Corporate Calendar process as the company’s needs evolve.

Office of the CEO

  • Work with Office of CEO team to create informational summaries in preparation for external meetings.
  • Assist as-needed with smaller, short-term projects for the Office of the CEO.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proficient with Smartsheet; comfortable creating & managing complex sheets, reports, dashboards.
  • Quick learner and growth mindset, whether it’s acquiring new domain knowledge or expanding technical skills. You pounce up steep learning curves. Not afraid to get into some (python or javascript) scripting or tweaking web pages (HTML or CSS).
  • Amazing interpersonal skills. Ability to work across different backgrounds, functional groups, and work styles. You are frequently complimented on being easy to work with.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and effectively. You know how to distill information appropriately to a range of communication mediums and audiences.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills. You keep the trains on track and on time.
  • Proficient in project management and team communication tools (i.e. Google Workspace, Sheets, Slides, Gantt charting, Lucidchart, Coda, Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc…did we mention Smartsheet). You’re comfortable with many tools; you can figure out how to make the best use of the tools at your disposal.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
