Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Integration Leadership:

  • Lead the integration of machine head systems, including but not limited to gearbox, driveline and yaw systems.
  • Ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Ensure collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among various stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on machine head systems, including gearboxes, structures, driveline and yaw.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in wind turbine systems.

Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, addressing issues proactively to maintain project momentum.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality standards and protocols throughout the systems integration process.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure system reliability and performance.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive innovation in wind turbine systems integration, exploring new technologies and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including system specifications, integration plans, and test reports.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in wind turbine systems integration or a related field. Experience in a leadership role is required.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Proficiency in systems integration tools and software.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in managing complex projects.
  • Communication:  Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving:  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.

Work Environment:

  • This role may require travel to project sites and collaboration with global teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
