Position Purpose:

This role will be a member of the global compensation team responsible for executive compensation programs, involvement with key broad-based compensation projects and stock plan administration which is handled through a channel partner. 

Executive compensation responsibilities include benchmarking executive roles, managing the annual calendar and assisting with quarterly Compensation Committee meeting preparation. This role will also be responsible for the annual proxy Statement compensation tables, Board of Director compensation tracking and communications, Stericycle’s equity program administration (which is managed through a channel partner), Director and Officer stock ownership policy compliance, equity and expense forecasting and vendor management. 
 

Key Job Activities:

  • Develop, implement, communicate and administer the company’s executive compensation and equity programs. 
  • Assist with broad-based compensation projects and analysis as needed.
  • Oversee the administration of the company's equity plans, including RSUs, PSUs, and ESPPs through a channel partner using the MS E*Trade platform; activities, include communicating stock issuances, overseeing vesting activities and employee purchases.
  • Develop materials and communications to help with employees understanding of equity compensation plans and cultivate engagement.
  • Partner with Payroll, Legal, and Tax departments on all matters involving employee share-based compensation.
  • Prepare all equity compensation materials for equity tables in the Proxy and 10K; assist with the CD&A drafting.
  • Work with our internal and external auditors to ensure SOX compliance for our equity programs country-wide and perform annual SOX control testing,
  • Develop equity budgeting approach, provide modeling, monitor and forecast equity usage including burn rate and other dilution analyses.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and market trends related to executive compensation and equity compensation.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

Education:

Preferred Education: in Finance

Experience (North America):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, Law, or related field
  • 5+ years of executive compensation experience
  • 2+ years of progressive stock administration experience with a global public company or stock plan system provider
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders, including employees, senior leadership, legal counsel and external vendors
  • Acute attention to detail and well-developed organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in equity administration software and Microsoft Excel
