About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant for the Financial Crimes Analytics Monitoring, and Surveillance (FCAMS) team within Financial Crimes Risk Management. As a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant, you will be joining an exciting team focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Transaction Monitoring (TM). This position will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a platform of quantitative and qualitative models that detect unusual transaction patterns. In this role you will be responsible for model and project management, supporting a range of AML transaction monitoring models in the development, validation, implementation, ongoing model performance, and model enhancement stages. As a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant, you will also be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to junior members of the team.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front office business and companywide functions, on the transaction monitoring program including priorities and strategies.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and regulatory requirements and corporate policies across all projects and models managed.
  • Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future transaction monitoring requirements for supported business partners.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and management across lines of business and functions to resolve issues and achieve goals.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, engineering, physics, economics, econometrics, or social or computer sciences.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to compile and organize findings and data retrieved before presenting it to management
  • Experience with model risk management and model development.
  • Familiarity with AML/BSA regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with transaction monitoring systems such as SAS AML, Oracle GAMLP, Actimize, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python.
  • Solid foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
