Purpose

At Atlas School, LLC, we are dedicated to our students’ success and committed to providing them with our best service throughout their journey from applicants to alumni. The Marketing Department is responsible for generating leads in the form of prospective students, increasing Atlas School brand recognition within the Tulsa area, supporting internal documentation and compliance, and building relationships with community organizations.


Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will support these operations by contributing to cross-channel marketing campaigns (on and offline), supporting the marketing needs of other Atlas School departments, and coordinating programming and sponsorships with external partners.

The Marketing Coordinator should be a self-motivated worker, excited to find new opportunities to contribute creatively and practically to the goals of the marketing department. This position is well suited for someone who feels comfortable balancing multiple clerical tasks with a keen attention to detail.

Requirements

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Participate in community and professional organization events, liaising on behalf of Atlas School as necessary.
  • Research and suggest opportunities for Atlas School to sponsor/partner with organizations to bolster our marketing and audience reach.
  • Support lead generation through brainstorming and collaboration with the rest of the marketing department, assisting cross-channel marketing efforts where needed, with a particular focus on aligning offline outreach with digital marketing.
  • Liaise and facilitate logistics for scheduled events and marketing obligations, coordinating between vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders through event planning, execution, and follow up.
  • Become familiar with our school catalog, have knowledge of the greater Tulsa technological ecosystem, and promote ongoing marketing campaigns within Tulsa.
  • Manage orders and maintain on-site storage of marketing materials, including but not limited to printed handouts, building signage, and branded giveaway items, across Atlas School departments.
  • Oversee clerical work associated with maintaining the Atlas School merch store.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education & Work Experience

  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience in the marketing, community engagement, or relationship management fields.
  • Experience with project management or event coordination.
  • Experience managing administrative tasks.

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail, delivering consistent quality.
  • Thrives in an observation/coaching style environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and work independently.
  • Ability to foster creativity.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience in interview settings.
  • Open to constructive supervision and coaching.

Professional Development/Growth Requirements

Individuals fulfilling this position are required to maintain professional development. Documentation providing proof of professional development must be provided to the Executive Director and a copy will be maintained in the respective employees’ employment file. Professional development activities need to occur minimally, twice a year. Acceptable activities include but are not limited to the following activities.

  • Current and active membership in professional organizations.
  • Attend webinars or meetings of professional organizations.
  • Pursue continuing education or training in their respective fields.
