Sr. Manager, Enterprise Program Management Operations (Hybrid/Flexible)

The Sr. Manager, EPMO Operations Leader oversees the daily operations of the Enterprise Program Management Office, ensuring effective project governance, resource management, and process optimization. This role drives consistency in project delivery, supports program managers, and aligns PMO activities with organizational strategy for all relevant areas (Product Development, IT, DCX, Commercial Operations). The role will develop, refine, and improve the product development design control and business processes and other functional programs to ensure clear and consistent progress is achieved to deliver on proposed and active solutions and sustaining priorities across the portfolio. This role will partner with program and platform leadership to plan, organize, and operate programs ensuring progress through progressive stages of completion to achieve market or internal release. This role will also provide support for internal portfolio governance bodies (segment product development portfolios, customer-facing systems, IT, innovation, etc.) in support of all Insulet business segments in continual alignment with corporate strategies and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage PMO operations, including portfolio oversight and resource allocation for all supported areas.
Develop, implement, and refine PMO processes, standards, and best practices.
Monitor program performance, risks, and issues; ensure timely reporting and escalation.
Support program managers with tools, training, and guidance.
Drive continuous improvement in program delivery and operational efficiency.
Manage PMO staff, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
Prepare and present PMO metrics and reports to executive leadership and governance organizations.
Provide an unbiased, data-drive perspective of program and portfolio status and risks to ensure Insulet is objectively managing product development.

Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
8+ years of related experience in program management within related field
Proven record of program and portfolio management including creating and tracking relevant metrics for program and resource management
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s or PhD degree in related field
10+ years of related experience in program management within related field
Ability to influence and manage others both as direct reports, and matrix reports
Effective collaborator with strong IQ/EQ
Experience in the medical device industry with knowledge related to the FDA design control process
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to organize and judge (triage) priorities.
Ability to effectively handle multiple efforts simultaneously
Physical Requirements
National and International travel as required (anticipated at ~20%)
NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office.
Additional Information:
Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $135,200.00 - $202,850.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
