SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Cincinnati

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you are responsible for providing financial support and coordination of the Budget, Forecast, and Reporting for the 84.51° Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM) team.  This role reports to the Director of FP&A.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing the applicable department forecasts, budgets & long range plans
  • Prepare monthly/YTD business results including key variance analysis to be shared with leadership
  • Publishing weekly pipeline report on sales opportunities and trends
  • Deep dive on shared costs across the 84.51° enterprise and how they impacts the KPM business
  • Lead the people cost forecasting and reporting for the KPM division
  • Partner with the HR leader and business leaders to strategize on effective headcount and controllable spend investments
  • Collaborate with the business leaders and FP&A director in the development of business cases and capital spend requests
  • Act as a key business partner and assist in understanding the financial impact of decisions made on the business
  • Collaborate with the Accounting and Finance teams on month end close
  • Ensure that underlying processes and data governance support the reporting needs of the organization
  • Adhoc financial analysis and support of business priorities
  • Partnering with sales operations, commercial operations, accounting, and business systems teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies as the KPM division grow

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of relevant financial experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel & Powerpoint
  • Salesforce, Power BI & D365 experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to articulate complicated financial information and deliver it in a meaningful and simplified way
