Position Details:• Start Date: August 2026 for the 26/27 school year• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)• Grade Levels: K–12 students
• Credentials: TX LSSP License required
• Compensation: Starting at $50/hour (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate interventions and support plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and social skills deficits.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create and implement programs and interventions to promote positive behavior support, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs), providing support and guidance to school teams.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with challenging behaviors.
- Serve as a resource to school staff, providing consultation, training, and support on topics related to psychological assessment, intervention, and behavior management.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, counseling sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
- Previous experience working as an LSSP in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of assessment tools, psychoeducational testing, and intervention strategies relevant to children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and external agencies.
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
